What is the difference between PSE Amber and Code 3®?
PSE Amber is the division of PSE that operates in the Warning market (Construction, Refuse, Utility, Recovery, DOTs), commonly referred to as the "amber" side of the business.
Code 3® is the division of PSE that operates in the Emergency market (Police, Fire, Ambulance, and Towing), commonly referred to as the "red & blue" side of the business.
While both segments may sell the same or similar products, both Code 3® and PSE Amber are run as two separate companies. Products from one are often not available through the other.

Where do I find the serial number on a lightbar?
The serial number is located on a bar coded sticker on the inside of the lightbar.

Can I add options to "Standard Bars"?
No, "standard bars" are sold with only a limited number of variables, as shown in the price guide. These include motor speed, lamp wattage, and lens or filter colors. If you require a "standard bar" with additional features, it becomes a "build your own bar". Every option needs to be requested and each item is priced differently (i.e. flashers).

Why are some LEDs described as directional, wide, or vertical?
A "directional" LED lamp projects a beam signal over a minimum area of 20 degrees to the right and 20 degrees
to the left on a horizontal plane and from 10 degrees up to 10 degrees down on a vertical plane.
A "vertical" LED lamp is the same as a "directional" lamp, but designed to be mounted vertically along the length of the device.
The signal spread remains the same as the "directional" lamp.
A "wide" LED lamp projects light in a defined horizontal arc substantially beyond 20 degrees to the right and
20 degrees to the left on a horizontal plane. The device must also project a beam signal over a minimum area of
5 degrees up to 5 degrees down in the vertical plane.
