When installing any aftermarket products into a vehicle be sure to contact the manufacturer of the vehicle to make sure whatever circuits you are interfacing with can handle the load requirements for the product you are installing.  Most Police Package Vehicles will give you the interface points you need.  If you do not understand how the interface points on your vehicle operate or their capabilities read the manual or consult the vehicle dealer or manufacturer.
