If you have a new Z3 siren and are not using all 8 auxiliary switches you can tie some of your auxiliary lighting (Lighting mounted on push bumpers, side-view mirrors, license plates, etc) to the unused outputs. You can then use the Z3 configuration software to turn those auxiliary switches on with the 3 Level slide switch. By doing this the officer can still turn the auxiliary lights on with the slide switch like normal, but can also override it and turn them off, or turn them on without the 3 level switch on. It also makes it easy to move which level the auxiliary lights come on, by using the Z3 configuration software and not having to physically re-wire anything.
